EVERYBODY WANTS AN OSCAR....                                                     AND OUR OSCAR PODCASTS!

The Oscars were handed out on February 24, and for weeks prior Matt and Jeff the Movie Man had been making their annual predictions about who would win and talking about Hollywood's biggest night in general.  Did you miss these on-air sessions?  Whether you're a giant film fan or just want to indulge in some snarky celebrity gossip, these podcasts are for you.

PODCAST ONE: Jon Stewart was the host this year, but here are the comedians whom we think would have been much better choices.  Also, crazy Sean Young was stank drunk at the Directors' Guild Awards.  Whom did she heckle?  And how the hell did she even get invited to the party?

PODCAST TWO: The winner of Best Supporting Actor was easy for Jeff to predict this year, but Matt was leery of a certain dark horse.  Who might have strolled out of the evening shade to challenge "Bowl Cut" Bardem for the trophy?

PODCAST THREE: Amy Ryan was way out in front all year for Best Supporting Actress, but Matt and Jeff agreed that one of her competitors was about to make her Oscar dreams be "Gone Baby Gone."  Who will win?  We knew.  Sort of.

PODCAST FOUR: What was it about "No Country For Old Men" that made this the Coen Brothers' year?  What factors kept Martin Scorsese at arm's length from Oscar for almost three decades?  And which Best Picture winner of the past ten years was most deserving?

PODCAST FIVE:  Did Heath Ledger's shocking death impact Oscar results?  Was there a "that'll do, pig" award this year?  Also, our handicapping of Cinematography and Art Direction.

PODCAST SIX:  Best Documentary, Editing, and Make-Up.  Also: Animated Feature, the easiest award to predict?

PODCAST SEVEN:  I champion "Eastern Promises," one of 2007's most underappreciated films.  Full discussion of the Best Actor category, even though there's no suspense about it this year.

PODCAST EIGHT:  Juno versus the French and the British!  Does little Ellen Page have a chance in the Best Actress race?  Also, what do you mean, the animator created those designs by projecting his own sperm onto a digital simulation of Marlon Brando's face?  You might have TOLD us that before we placed our bets!

PODCAST NINE:  "Coming" attraction is right: our teaser for the movie starring paralyzed Matt and his colossal hard on.
