Well, gang, you know a band is obscure when I can't find in my vast archives a single biographical clip or article about them. 

I'm sure, somewhere in my piles, there's an interview with Charles or Eddie, or Charles AND Eddie, but for now, I'll be damned if I can find it.  And even more shockingly, my intense online search doesn't turn up ANY interviews, statements, record label press releases, ANYTHING.  As soon as a bio turns up, I'll post it here. 

I can tell you that Charles & Eddie released a second album here in the States on Capitol Records in 1995.  That set was called Chocolate Milk, and not even the guys' parents bought copies.  The United Kingdom was much nicer to the pseudo-castrata twosome: in addition to "Would I Lie to You"'s # 1 chart showing, three subsequent singles all made the British top 40.  Uh... not high up, or anything, but they made it.
