Prague's Old Town Square From Above

The holiday markets, decorations, and ambience of Prague
as seen at ground level and from high atop the astronomical clock tower.

For Matt, the entire cost of the MATT RADIO 2007 EUROPEAN TOUR was worth it
just to capture this moment: Matt, Dana, and the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn.

We tried a “trdelnik.” They look
better than they taste, actually.

That's a spire of the Church of St. Nicholas straight to the north.

Dana with my favorite building
on planet earth.

Gotta love that this observation deck above the astronomical clock is straight across
from the Tyn Church.

You've gotta be pushy to snag these photos ops, though; every tourist wants to pose in this spot.

A row of houses blocks any views
of the front of the Tyn Church
because “the Habsburg-backed patricians built in front of it with impunity,” says the New York Times.

Prague Castle is
over Dana's shoulder.

The Jan Hus Monument,
with Dlouha Street winding
northward behind it and the Kinsky Palace just to the east.

You think they could pass a
Staropramen to me up here?

The Jewish Quarter lies
between Matt and Prague
Castle on the hill.

See all the folks getting
between me and my church!

There was a private wedding party going on down here. We briefly got swept up in its crowd.
