Ladies and Gentlemen... Meet Sisina!

It's the first face-to-face meeting for Matt & Dana with Sisina, their best Slovakian friend.
To celebrate: a Prague pub crawl and a midnight stroll through this magical city.

Prague Castle looms across the Vltava River as Dana stands on Smetanovo Nabrezi Street.

Dana enjoys her Krusovice Granat and chicken steak with fries and potato cakes.

This restaurant is inside a 16th century gothic cellar, beneath a hotel.

Matt also quaffs Krusovice,
and his entree is beef goulash.

That's some kind of cooker
in the kitchen.

The restaurant is U Zlate Studny,
or “at the Golden Well.”

Climbing the stairs to ground level, you'll see this small bar.

Two genuinely creepy street performers lurk on Karlova Street.

Neysa moved to Prague from Texas last year to teach English.

Sisina and Matt finally
meet in person after two years
of online friendship.

Sisina is from Slovakia but lives
and attends university in Prague. She's also a part-time resident of England.

Dana and Sis

Does this face mean Sis doesn't dig the exotic flavors of beer here at Pivovarsky Dum?

Coffee beer, champagne beer, cherry beer, banana beer... we tried them all.

After our stay at Pivovarsky Dum, Sis will take us to her favorite haunt, Dog's Bollocks.

Staropramen Granat is on tap
at the Blue Rose pizza joint.

The Charles Bridge is quiet now, at 11:08 pm.

of Charles Bridge is alight
with holiday spirit.

Pardon the blur, but that's the National Theatre as seen from the Charles Bridge.

Sis has some of her classes here.

Sis pauses to imagine a home filled
with this fine Bohemian crystal.

At 11:57 pm, the crowds have thinned even in Old Town Square.

"At the Golden Well" has decent food and the service was good,
so we'll give 'em a link and a shout-out.
