Harrod's and the London Eye

MATT RADIO loves a rainy night, so Matt & Dana rode the Eye
in spite of the weather and then explored London's most famous department store.

Matt on Hungerford Bridge, with the Eye behind him.

Cucina Creativa, where
we had afternoon tea.

Hungerford Bridge, which
spans the River Thames.

The Eye has become the most popular paid tourist
attraction in the UK.

The Houses of Parliament

That's the National Theatre
at the upper left.

on board the Eye

Due to it being (a) dark
and (b) rainy...

...the pics I've taken from the Eye on past London visits are better than these.

The Eye's inner workings

British Airways was the
original sponsor of the Eye...

...but now has no financial
stake in it whatsoever.

I love the composition
of this photograph.

inside Harrod's

This is the massive store's
Egyptian-themed section.

Dana tries on a ring.

It costs well beyond the
dollar amount of our entire
European vacation.

British bling

Harrod's is famous for its window displays at Christmas.

Extravagance! Indulgence! Horrendous value for the American dollar!
