Dana & Matt's European Adventure Begins

Their belated honeymoon kicks off in London in Wicked fashion,
with a pop-in on the Queen and front row seats at the theatre.

You can tell the Queen is home by the placement of the guards.

Horses approach the palace.

In this carriage are five members of the Queen's Body Guard.

Investitures are being bestowed at the palace today, upon up to 150 honored recipients.

Five of the Queen's Body Guards are always present during
every investiture ceremony.

They are brought in with the
back flap of the carriage open.

When the Guards are taken out by carriage later in the day, that back flap will be closed.

The gates of the palace are closed again after the carriage passes through.

Having dropped off the
Body Guards, the carriage exits
the courtyard.

Cool statue in front of the palace. And check out the London Eye

This flag flying over the palace means the Queen is here right now.

Dana loves the tree inside the Buckingham Palace gift shop.

It's good to be king.

First meal in London: the
Bag O' Nails pub for lunch.

Dana has a meat pie
with peas and mash.

After a long nap, we're ready
for our 7:30 show.

Wicked,” baby!

The stage curtain is a highly detailed map of Oz.

Front row! You know it!

Not to spoil anything,

The dining room of the
Duke of York pub.

We came upstairs here for
our post-theatre dinner.

The Duke of York pub is
right next to the Victoria Palace
Theatre and just a couple
blocks from “Wicked.”

Don't ask for the restroom in England. Or the WC. Ask for the toilet.

I always order fish and chips one time on each London visit.

Dana's lovely in this light.

London has changed
Matt for good.
