I don't think we're
in Florida anymore, Toto.

The park is nestled in the northeastern end of the Bays Mountain formation.

Bobcat! If this pussy's not purring, best not approach.

Snake wrangling is one of
Dana's many hidden talents.

Get these mother-f---in' snakes out of my mother-f---in' gift shop!”

Foxy!

The park includes a 44-acre lake.

Someone's looking back at you...

Can you spot the wild kitty?

The bobcats are shy today.

Did you sons of bitches really stuff my cousin Bert and stick him up in your sick museum of death?
Damn you! Damn you all!”

Good afternoon, Dear.

Many white-tail deer roam freely around the grounds at
Bays Mountain Park.

Framed on all sides by mountain ridges, much of the park lies in a natural basin and is a
protected haven for wildlife.

Did I leave the gas on? No!
I'm a f---'in squirrel!”

Gray wolves like these once roamed the hills of East Tennessee.

The enclosed wolf habitat
covers 1.5 acres.

Bays Mountain is a range
that extends from Long Island on the Holston River in Kingsport, Tennessee...

...to Blount County, Tennessee,
some 115 miles to the southwest.

During the Civil War most of the people who actually lived on the mountain were Union sympathizers.

Surrounding Sullivan County, though, was a hotbed of Confederate loyalty.

Bottoms up, baby! Moonshine was in active production here on Bays Mountain up through the 1960s.
