Charles Bridge and Old Town Square, Prague

MATT RADIO tapes on location on and around the Charles Bridge in Matt's adopted homeland, as Angela and Tereza lend their Czech voices.

Proving once again that
Czechs love marionettes.

Thirty statues stand along the two walls of Charles Bridge.

Charles Bridge spans the Vltava River.

The Lesser Town Towers are at the far west end of the bridge.

Various local bands are always playing live on the bridge.

Clutching the digital voice recorder, Matt spouts a segment
for future broadcast.

Now we've walked back over the east end of Charles Bridge, and look! Tyn Church looms ahead!

And there's the astronomical clock in the foreground.

Cars aren't allowed in Old Town Square, but horses have free reign. (And reins!)

Anybody else notice that
cool statue way up there
on top of the building?

Did we walk Tereza too hard?
She's tired.

But not too tired to fix her hair, apparently.

All hail Krusovice,
my favorite beer of 2006.

Ah, Angela is here.
See the rest of you later.
Na shledanou.

It's the Charles Bridge, yo!
