The Arcadians invade COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Pam & Melissa accompany Matt in the City of Bicycles,

where all the girls are beautiful and all the restaurants & bars

have three seating sections: “smoking,” “heavy smoking,”

and “holy crap, I can't see a friggin' thing through all this damn smoke.”

(Click to view larger version of any of the photos below.)

These first six pics were all
taken at Cafe Norden, our first
evening in Copenhagen, 1.13.06.

No, we're not at McDonald's; those Golden Arches are across the street.

of beers on tap at Oliver's bar

Pam pouts at Oliver's.

Happiness is a warm pub on a
cold Copenhagen night.

Matt liked the outfits that the Oliver's barmaids were almost wearing.

Pam was so frantic to wash her
smoke-saturated clothes, she opened her own laundromat.

Pam at the Christianshavns Kanal

Here are two of Copenhagen's approximately nineteen trillion bicyclists.

Matt gazes contemplatively
over the water...

"Maybe the Denmark girls would like me better if I rode a bike."

Pam says, "Maybe they'd like you better if you ditch the coat,
Inspector Gadget."

Matt couldn't stop marveling at the steeple of Christianshavn Church.

In this pic, you can make out the steeple's winding outdoor staircase...and its see-through railing!

The building in the center, Borsen,
has four dragons on top, securing
the Danish welfare. Their tails

We know where Pam will spend
the rest of her vacation.

Matt's here to add some new
material to the Danish branch
of the MATT RADIO archives.

We found Melissa's
store in Copenhagen...
where wit, charm, and sarcasm
are always the top sellers.
